Béké-Bobo is, above all, a beautiful love story!
My name is Maggy-Nadyne. I'm the mom behind Béké-Bobo®.
When I gave birth to my daughter Camillie and saw how intense her stomach pains were, I felt completely helpless. There's nothing worse for a mother than watching her child suffer. When she had surgery at 18 months old, the prognosis wasn't great. I started researching inflammation and looking into treatment options beyond the traditional medication that no longer worked for her. We tried several non-invasive methods like homeopathy, massage, and hot-cold compresses, but nothing worked for her.
The birth of the therapeutic bears
After several weeks, I developed a cereal blend that, once heated in the microwave for 30 seconds, could reduce inflammation through the moisture it released.
It seemed obvious to me that I needed to create a bear to hold the cereal blend, so she'd adopt it like a stuffed animal.
It was magic!
For the first time in her life, she was relaxed and relieved. She smiled at me! What happiness! Within days, the news had spread through the halls of the hospital where she was a regular patient since birth. Sales began, and I became the world's first bear engineer.
25 years later... 1 in 3 children in Canada owns a Béké-bobo
Today my daughter is 27 years old and lives very well with her condition thanks to the therapeutic bear she still uses. I'm proud of what I've built with this brand, which has now been around for 25 years. I keep creating new products to provide natural, eco-friendly relief, so customers like you can offer comfort and relief to the people you love.
